Social Media Communication Plan - Level 2
After finalizing your social media plan it is time to implement it, but not every school district has the resources available. From crafting new guidelines, building the page, providing training and resources - our team will help your school district implement your new social media plan.
In the Level 2 service, we'll establish and set up your social media page with your logo and a professionally designed school header (as allowed by the selected medium). We'll craft a social media guidelines document. Then our communications professional will provide one training, two-hours in-length, at your district, for your social media editors. This training will review your district's social media plan and guidelines while also incorporating the technical capabilities of the selected medium(s). A high-level summary of the plan and the guidelines will be recorded in a short web-video format so that your district can share a social media update with staff. A draft promotional article will also be provided for consideration in the district's newsletter and/or website.
The District will provide Erie 1 BOCES staff with current contact information (the full names and titles, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses) of designated District officials who should receive information on behalf of the District from Erie 1 BOCES in connection with this service. The District will provide content (including images), respond to drafts, and provide approvals in a timely manner to meet the pre-established deadlines. The district will provide the names of the designated editors, training date options and room with the technology needed for the training. If training space is not possible in the district, alternative dates and locations may be selected by Erie 1 BOCES. The district will be responsible for the districts' staff mileage.
