Cloud Provisioning - Office 365
This service encompasses components and technologies needed to facilitate secure user creation/user population of Cloud Provisioning solutions. Cloud provisioning Service provides the creation, and integration of identities and the access management of users to cloud-based workspace environments.

The WNYRIC Technical Team is made up of highly trained network engineers who will assist the school district in creating and sustaining a cost efficient way to incorporate cloud provisioning methods which include necessary components for authentication, password management, access to technical resources and the internet. The district must maintain the correct users and their authorization roles in a WNYRIC supported HR or SIS application to be eligible to participate.
- Correct and appropriate Parental Consent forms must be completed prior to implementation
- Must be a part of Microsoft EES (A1 Plan at minimum)
- District must provide data fields that are fully populated to ensure all needed information is available for Active Directory import. Data must be clean, if not, Microsoft AD Preparatory Check is mandatory)
- Recommended WNYRIC supported authenticated sources (HR and SIS) AD user/password management service to populate AD with Required Fields
- Providing resources for installation of required synchronization tools to facilitate user provisioning and/or password synchronization.
- Provide a team leader or point person who can be a decision maker and who can communicate effectively with all necessary parties
- District must provide all DNS information needed for implementation.
- Maintenance\upgrade of the Cloud Solution Tools will be the districts responsibility. There are two additional optional services, Cloud Domain Administration Service – 650.898.47 to provide daily administration or Cloud Workspace Management Special Projects - 650.898.44 to provide break/fix support as needed.
- WNYRIC personnel will require administrative access to the district AD in order to establish prerequisites for provisioning. This includes the ability to install software needed to attain the districts desired goals.
- Provide qualified/responsible personnel to perform needed functions of daily technical activities associated with the cloud solution selected.
- Provide feedback to RIC for evaluation purposes
WNYRIC will provide the following:
- Consultation with the district team leader or point person to fully understand the needs of the district and determine the most cost effective solution
- Required Fields for authoritative sources (HR and SMS) for SIF or DIMs AD population
- Configuration of Provisioning tool, AAD Connect
- Creation of a cloud workspace environment (Office 365)
- Integration of a schools’ local authentication directory service if applicable
- Creation and maintenance of student\teacher delivered profile environments
- WNYRIC will add all related DNS records to be used with Office 365
- Provide qualified/responsible personnel to perform needed functions of daily technical activities
- Provide training for WNYRIC personnel to keep current with new technology
Optional Service for an additional cost:
- If AD is local - Microsoft AD Preparatory check is needed to ensure best practices are being used
- Procurement of any additional servers needed to maintain desired provisioning method
- Domain Name purchase, if required
- SSL Wildcard purchase, if required
- Single Sign-On as available
- District email migration and support into the cloud workspace environment
- Post implementation support as requested

Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms.
Staff follows best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student, teacher and principal data security and privacy regulations.
