nVision Application Access Review
WNYRIC staff will consult with district Security Officer or Superintendent to review employee access/security to the district financial/HR/Payroll application and make recommendations for changes based upon employee responsibilities.
At the district’s request, this review may be completed annually or on an as-needed basis. The district has the final decision on any changes and may choose to enact those changes itself or authorize the appropriate WNYRIC staff to do so by enrolling in the Application Access Administrative Service.

District responsibilities:
- Outline job duties, budgetary responsibilities and chain of command for all staff accessing the district financial/HR/Payroll application.
- Meet with WNYRIC staff to review responsibilities.
- During the review process, relay any shift in employee job duties or budgetary responsibilities to the appropriate WNYRIC staff for consideration.
- Designate at least two district contacts/decision-makers for follow-up security questions.
WNYRIC responsibilities:
- Schedule and facilitate planning session for security review process.
- Respond to requests within two business days.
- Provide training for district security decision makers regarding the ramifications of desired changes.
- Communicate any process questions to designated district contacts.
- Provide system security reports to the Superintendent and/or district Security Officer at the close of the review.
