Consultant Services for Family Support Centers
This service assists districts in forming and maintaining school-based family services (Family Support Centers) and offers a consultant service to assist in the development of management plans for staff of at risk students with difficult behavior who need additional support and accommodations of those who are being considered for more restrictive placement.
Assistance in forming and maintaining school-based family services (Family Support Centers) and may include:
- Proactive strategies for prevention the occurrence of problem behavior
- A customized service that provided both training and follow-up collaboration
- Confidential classroom observations
- Development of comprehensive management plans
- Collaboration and team-building strategies
- Working with counselors, social workers and psychologists in solution-focused therapy
The district will plan in advance and provide appropriate district representation at the training/session.
Provide appropriate district representation at all training/sessions.
Provide District with the most current research-based professional development services.
This service includes planning, facilitation, preparation of materials, customization and collaboration among staff as needed by Erie 1 BOCES.
