Instructional Resources Team

The participating districts will develop, adopt, and implement a district plan for school improvement. These plans must be consistent with the State Initiatives and reflective of the goals of building local capacity. Copies of each district's plan shall be filed in the Erie 1 BOCES Instructional Resources Team office and updated annually. A CDEP (Comprehensive District Education Plan) can replace the school improvement plan.The district will arrange to meet with BOCES staff for planning and/or facilitating building work.

Erie 1 BOCES will develop, maintain, manage, control, and follow-up on Instructional Resources Team Services with the participating districts. This includes the nature of the service and the means of delivery. All services will be consistent with law, regulation, and guidelines governing BOCES operations. All activities in this service must support the effort to set high standards and improve student achievement in New York State.Erie 1 BOCES staff will provide curricula overviews and updates as outlined by the State Education Department in correlation to the standards.Erie 1 BOCES will complete all financial transactions.
